Hubaldo Larios vs. Ron Sullivan (Heavyweights)
Jesse Shewmaker vs. Mario Miramontes (Light Heavyweights)
Joey Sosa vs. Justin Huhn (Middleweights)
Rico Lane vs. Jeremy Stiers (Welterweights)
Jeremy Welch vs. Roy Hughes (Junior Middleweights)

Hubaldo Larios (0-1) vs. Ron Sullivan (0-2)

These guys gave it their all until the ref stopped the fight at 1:42 of the 4th round for a TKO victory to Hubaldo Larios. Sullivan claimed it was a low blow that put him in the stopping position but the ref did not agree.

Jesse Shewmaker (4-0) vs. Mario Miramontes (2-0)

Mario had a plan and that was to stay away from Shewmaker. He was able to do so for 1:45 into the first round then Shewmaker cut the ring off and landed a power Left Hook and that was it. Shewmaker had to figure out how to cut the ring off and he did. KO victory for Shewmaker.

Joey Sosa (4-0) vs. Justin Huhn (1-1)

This was a good learning fight for Sosa. Huhn was content to tie Sosa up on the inside. Sosa had quicker hands and eventually his body work caused Huhn to run out of gas in the fourth so much that he was not even defending himself when the ref stepped in at 2:21 of the fourth round for a TKO victory to Joey Sosa.

Jeremy Stiers (7-4) vs. Rico Lane (16-2-1)

International Boxing Council, Americas Welterweight Title

Another classic put on between these two fighters. I will eventually come back with a full round-by-round review of this fight but for now I will simply give the result: 116-112 Stiers, 115-113 Lane, and 117-111 Stiers for a Split Decision to Jeremy Stiers.

Jeremy Welch (0-1) vs. Roy Hughes (2-16-1)

Roy showed a good chin but three knockdowns in the second round caused a stoppage and a TKO victory at 1:53 for Jeremy Welch.
